Previous to working as Bluewater’s Business Development Strategist, I spent seven years as the founder of a direct mail marketing company in St. Louis. Over time, I slowly started working my way into the digital space. Four years ago I fully submerged myself in all that is digital and really started honing in my skills as a digital and print specialist. As my first few weeks at Bluewater are underway, I am quickly finding it to be a great fit and everyone is extremely intelligent as well as fun to be around.
I was born in St. Louis, Missouri but my heart belongs to Minnesota. I had some friends who came to Minnesota to play hockey and I came up to visit a few years ago during the fourth of July. After four days out on the lake and a few Juicy Lucys, I was sold and literally moved up that next weekend.
I’m a big hockey (GO BLUES!) and baseball fan. I’m also a huge movie/tv show nerd. If I start a show I have to finish it…no matter how bad it gets. I also really enjoy traveling. I made it my goal to travel to every state to have my favorite pasta and cheeseburger and I completed that three years ago. This year I want to travel and see a show at Red Rocks and go see a musical on Broadway.
I am a big fan of motivational quotes so I’ll leave you with one from my hero.
“My model for business is The Beatles. They were four guys who kept each others kind of negative tendencies in check. They balanced each other and the total was greater then the sum of the parts. That’s how I see business: great things in business are never done by one person, they’re done by a team of people.”
